As the 2027 Oyo Guber Election draws nearer, the atmosphere is heating up with rumours, blackmail and propaganda which is necessary in an election season.
The Accord Party Gubernatorial Candidate and founder of Agidigbo FM, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat has come out to clear the air on several rumours and naysayers on the issue of Gumi and Sharia in Oyo State.
He said this in a video interview released yesterday on his Facebook page.
According to the broadcaster, he said ‘Let the poor breathe, Don’t be surprised if I’m blackmailed for buying guns’

This is coming after many reactions from people in Oyo State regarding the idea of imposing Sharia Law in Oyo State and his strong relationship with Sheik Gumi.
He also cleared the doubts of his supporters, when he said ‘I’m Still contesting to be the next Governor of Oyo State, forget about my personality’.
According to reports from the last conducted Primaries in Oyo State, it was gathered that the Accord Party has two Candidates, but it is yet to be verified whom the party will send to INEC as their flagbearer.
The Oyo State Guber Election is in a few months with candidates such as Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC), Bimbo Adekambi (APM), Oriyomi Hamzat and Gudugudu (Accord Party) and other candidates who are waiting from court or party clearance.
