March 19, (THEWILL) – The leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ofuoma Town, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Olorogun Theo Mukoro, has delivered his polling unit with a wide margin to the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, in the Saturday governorship election.
At Mukoro’s polling unit 035, ward 2/6, in Ofuoma town, the APC polled 353 votes to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which scored 192 votes.
Also, in the State Assembly election, the APC polled 327 votes and while the PDP scored 217 votes.
Mukoro, the Ughelli North Coordinator, President-elect, Bola Tinubu, Chief Ede Dafinone and the Ovie Omo-Agege Governorship Campaign Council, thanked the people of Ofuoma in polling units 035 for voting for the APC and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
He spoke to newsmen at Ofuoma on Saturday, shortly after the results were announced by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Mukoro lauded INEC officials assigned to Ofuoma for the free and fair exercise and also appreciated Ofuoma indigenes, for their peaceful conduct before, during and after the elections.
