March 21, (THEWILL) – Victor Osimhen has landed a multi-million Naira endorsement deal with Reckitt Nigeria, the makers of Dettol soap.
The deal was unveiled at a ceremony in Lagos, with Osimhen’s face set to appear on all Reckitt products. While the exact amount involved in the endorsement has not been revealed, Osimhen was present to sign and pose for pictures with representatives of Reckitt.
The Napoli striker had to wait until the morning after his arrival in Lagos on Monday night before signing the deal with Reckitt. His impressive form in Serie A this season is believed to have been a key factor in the company’s decision to partner with him.
Osimhen will now fly to Abuja to join his Super Eagles teammates for their upcoming matches against Guinea Bissau. The first leg of the ties will take place on Friday, March 24, at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja, with the return leg scheduled for three days later.
Osimhen’s endorsement deal with Reckitt is expected to boost his profile even further, as he looks to cement his place as one of Nigeria’s most promising young footballers.
