Alec Baldwin has a meaningful objective for his children that he believes is achievable.
The actor known for his role in Mission: Impossible–Rogue Nation recently expressed the significant lesson he aims to impart to his children with wife Hilaria Baldwin: Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 8, Eduardo, 5, Maria Lucia, 5, and Ilaria, 3.
In an exclusive interview with E! News at the premiere of the documentary Gaslit on June 12, Alec shared, “I want my kids to grow up having hope, because right now it’s more hopeless than I’ve ever seen.”
The politically active actor, who also has a 30-year-old daughter, Ireland, with former spouse Kim Basinger, elaborated, “We must continue the fight to show our children that it’s important to persevere. They need to have hope and work towards taking control away from those who might misuse their power, ensuring it is handled responsibly.”
On a lighter note, Alec, now 68, humorously mentioned that he once had different aspirations for his children.
