WASHINGTON, D.C. (WDCW) – The National Park Service is inviting the public to share their thoughts on a new report that evaluates the possible impacts of a proposed 250-foot-tall arch, a project championed by former President Donald Trump.
This monumental arch is planned to stand at Memorial Circle, marking the entrance to the nation’s capital at the western end of the Arlington Memorial Bridge. It is intended as a tribute to celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary.

WASHINGTON (WDCW) – The National Park Service is seeking public input on a report examining the potential effects of President Donald Trump’s proposed 250-foot-tall arch.
The arch would be erected on Memorial Circle at the entrance to Washington, D.C., at the western end of the Arlington Memorial Bridge to commemorate America’s 250th birthday.

As part of the park service’s responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the agency evaluated the possible impacts of the proposed Triumphal Arch and associated improvements on historic properties in the area, including the Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall and parts of the Memorial Avenue Corridor.
Through June 15, the NPS is seeking feedback on the report and the arch’s potential effects.
