Fellow public figures, including Reverend Ben Kiengei, sent messages of comfort to the family, acknowledging Karangu’s tireless dedication to his brother’s recovery.
However, on TikTok, a lady using the handle @alicianymo came out crying and pleading with Karangu to let her know when her father, Paul, will be buried.
“Yesterday I posted a video concerning my father Paul Muraya, a brother to Karangu. All I am asking is that this video reaches Karangu. I just want him to help me know when my father will be buried so I pay the last respect. I have been down since I found out that he is no longer here. I never expected his death to affect me because we barely talked,” she said. Alicia claimed that she saw her father in February this year after so many years and felt the love of a father.
“He was so kind and generous for the two hours I spent with him. I had gone to visit him at his place in Murang’a. I was looking forward to him getting well so I could spend quality time with him as my father. But I guess God loved him so much,” she added. Alicia affirmed that she wants nothing else from the family other than to attend her father’s burial so she can say goodbye.I
