Man picked over alleged phone theft in Abuja

A suspected phone thief, Dahiru Usman, has been arrested after allegedly sneaking into a woman’s room to steal mobile phones in Unguwar Dodo, Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.

A resident, Jamilu Danjuma, said the incident occurred when the woman, alongside two of her children, was sleeping outside due to heat after switching off her generator.

He said the suspect quietly entered the room and had already picked three phones, including the woman’s, before he was spotted by a neighbour while attempting to leave.
