Spencer Pratt makes heartbreaking claim about Daveigh Chase’s tragic death after bombshell AIDS reveal

Spencer Pratt claimed in a bold new social media post that “Lilo & Stitch” star Daveigh Chase died because she wasn’t forced into rehab.

“This poor beautiful girl is dead because nobody was willing to drag her to rehab against her will,” Pratt wrote via X on Saturday, responding to The Post’s June 17 headline, “Ghastly video shows ‘Lilo & Stitch’ actress Daveigh Chase wasting away on Skid Row months before death.”

In the comments thread, fans echoed the former Los Angeles mayoral candidate’s sentiments.

“How sad,” one person wrote, while another remarked, “It’s a shame that nobody came forward to drag this girl to rehab. It’s a shame that nobody came forward to get her off of the streets. It’s a shame that nobody came forward to love her and help her rebuild her life.”

Others lashed out at the entertainment industry, with one person chiming in, “Hollywood in a nutshell. A lifetime of use and abuse and left for dead on the streets.”

The social media post comes one day after the “Ring” star’s cause of death on June 16 was revealed to be acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner report obtained by Page Six on Monday.

Chronic polysubstance use was also cited as a contributing factor, with the manner of death being determined natural.

The “Spirited Away” actress was diagnosed with multiple “serious” blood infections that turned her body septic, as well as meningitis, before passing away, her alleged boyfriend Roy Hernandez said at the time.

According to TMZ, the actress was admitted early in June to a local hospital due to malnutrition.

The former child star was 35.

Hernandez launched a fundraiser prior to Chase’s death, claiming he hoped to help her find “comfort” in her last days. Later, he insisted to TMZ he planned to give her a “proper memorial” with the funds.

But her former longtime manager, John Ryan, subsequently told The Post that “none of us friends or her family” had heard of Hernandez, and claimed he “can confirm Daveigh has a trust account set up at SAG to cover all costs” relating to her death.

Ryan also claimed that the actress was “too far gone” in her addiction to drugs including fentanyl and heroin to claim millions of dollars in residuals she’d earned.

In a clip obtained by The Post earlier this month, the actress was seen looking shockingly thin and all but unconscious while lying on the floor of a trailer or tent on Skid Row in Los Angeles.

On Monday, Page Six obtained documents revealing that Chase died of AIDS. The actress is pictured here in a snapshot included in a fundraiser. GoFundMe

Ryan said at the time that he’d been searching for the actress for months — along with a private investigator and Chase’s stepsister, Gaia Brown — prior to seeing the video late last year.

Prior to being edged out of the Los Angeles mayoral race earlier this month by opponents Karen Bass and Nithya Raman, the reality star had repeatedly slammed Los Angeles’ handling of its homelessness crisis.

“You don’t get off these drugs with beds,” Pratt, 42, told CNN in an interview last month.

“You need support. You need a real solution,” he continued. “And what’s happening? We’ve done it now, what, for 10 years. Their plan does not work. Their experience is complete failure. This is not Spencer saying this. This is every single person with eyeballs driving around LA.”
