Tinubu mourns Emir of Ngazargamu, Ahmad Tijjani Ibn Saleh

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ngazargamu in Yobe State, Ahmad Tijjani Ibn Saleh.

In a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu describes the late monarch as a father, mentor, and respected custodian of tradition whose life was dedicated to the service of his people and humanity.

According to reports from the Ngazargamu Emirate Council, the Emir passed away on Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt, following a prolonged illness.

President Tinubu said the late royal father embodied wisdom, humility, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of his subjects.

He noted that the Emir’s fatherly guidance and exemplary leadership would continue to inspire the people of Ngazargamu, Yobe State, and the nation at large.

The President extended his heartfelt condolences to the Ngazargamu Emirate Council, the royal family, the Government and people of Yobe State, as well as all subjects of the Emirate.

President Tinubu prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the late Emir’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family and the entire Emirate the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
