Zamfara projects meet due process, quality standards — Commissioner

The Zamfara State Government has said projects executed under Governor Dauda Lawal are guided by quality, transparency and strict adherence to due process.

The Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Lawal Barau Bungudu, stated this while briefing journalists at the J.B. Yakubu Secretariat in Gusau.

He said the administration had introduced a new standard in project execution across the state, stressing that emphasis is placed on accountability and compliance with specifications.

A statement by the ministry’s information officer, Jamilu Bello, said all projects undergo “rigorous monitoring and evaluation to ensure they meet approved standards and deliver long-term value.”

“I work with Governor Dauda Lawal because of his passion and commitment to transparency in every aspect of governance and project execution in the state,” he said.

He added that the ministry is prioritising roads, bridges and public facilities that impact residents directly, assuring that ongoing and future projects will align with the administration’s development goals.
