Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle popularly known as Tunde Ednut, is a Nigerian blogger, comedian, entertainer and musician noted for his blog and songs “Jingle Bell” and “Catching Cold”, which was a Headies award nominee for best pop single at The Headies Awards of 2013.

He is widely regarded as one of the most prominent bloggers in Nigeria.

He is currently one of the biggest social media influencers in the country, with more than 4 million followers on Instagram.

FAMILY

Adekunle was born on the 20th of January 1986 in the northern part of Nigeria, Katsina State, precisely but he hails from Kogi state. He relocated to Lagos with his family in the 1990s.

He was raised by his parents and he is the 1st son and 2nd child of 5 children in the family.

Blogger, Adekunle currently resides in Atlanta, United State Of America.

Adekunle is reportedly dating Ghanaian-born Erica Emefa.

EDUCATION

Adekunle had his elementary education at Cambridge International School before proceeding to Federal Government College, Ugolawo, Kogi State, for his secondary education.

He then proceeded to Kingsland University in London, where he bagged a degree in Graphic Design.

CAREER

Adekunle started as a comedian. His comedy got him an invitation to perform at the Dynamiks Award in 2009.

His performance at the award caught the attention of UK-based Black Nights Entertainment and Femi Amusan.

Adekunle’s collaboration with Femi Amusan’s likes allowed him to explore larger platforms.

He was invited to perform in shows in the UK, and it skyrocketed him to being one of the most sought-after comedians in the country at that time.

In 2019, Adekunle started blogging by posting the latest gist on his platform. He took it a step further by utilising Instagram for his blogging.

Aside from blogging and comedy, Adekunle has also tried music. His first hit song was Catching Cold Remix, featuring Mavin Records’ Dr Sid.

His other hit songs are Baby Boo and Jingle Bell.

In December 2020, he released the remix of Jingle Bell featuring Nigeria’s top artists like Davido and Tiwa Savage.

Adekunle is also known for his obsession with Senator Dino Melaye and Nigeria’s music star, Davido.

CONTROVERSY

In 2020, there was been an online rift between Adekunle with Nigerian relationship blogger, Joro Olumofin.

Joro claimed Adekunle is an illegal immigrant which resulted in court cases, the issue is still unsettled as both parties are always seen exchanging social media posts aimed at downplaying one another.

December 2020, shortly after dropping the Jingle Bell remix featuring Davido and Tiwa Savage, Adekunle‘s Instagram account was taken down by either Instagram or he himself as nobody was able to come up with any proven idea of what might have happened to the blogger’s over 2.5 million Instagram followers.

Adekunle has also claimed that he can’t marry a lady who receives body messages from men and would immediately divorce with no explanation if his wife is seen doing that.
