Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has appointed Hon. Benibo Anabraba, as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The governor, who made the announcement through a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Honour Kuru Sirawoo, on Monday in Port Harcourt, said the new SSG will be sworn in by 4pm at the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt.

He was among commissioners sworn in by Governor Fubara in October 2024, but a Supreme Court ruling later invalidated the appointment on grounds of not being screened by legally recognised House of Assembly in the State.
