Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced the commencement of applications for its 2026/2027 Foreign Master’s Postgraduate Scholarship Programme, targeting qualified indigenes of the Niger Delta region.

The commission disclosed this in a post shared on Monday via its official X handle, @NDDCOnline.

According to the NDDC, the scholarship initiative is designed to support postgraduate studies in reputable institutions abroad, particularly in disciplines considered vital to both regional growth and national development.

“The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) invites applications from qualified indigenes of the Niger Delta region for its Foreign Master’s Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session,” the post read.

The commission further explained that the programme will cover Master’s degree studies at accredited foreign universities, with a focus on equipping beneficiaries with skills and knowledge that can contribute meaningfully to the development of the Niger Delta.
