Eskom has informed customers in the Cullinan area of a planned electricity supply interruption scheduled across five days in July 2026, as the power utility carries out essential maintenance on its distribution network.
The outage will affect Moloto 1 South on 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 July. Work will commence at 9:30 and end at 18:30 each day, meaning affected residents and businesses face up to 9 hours without electricity.
The interruption is necessary to perform maintenance on Eskom’s distribution power lines, the utility confirmed in a notice to customers.

Multiple transformers in the Moloto 1 South area are scheduled for work across the five-day period:
1 July: BMM90/7/1, BMM90/7/2, BMM90/16, BMM90/24, BMM90/32
2 July: BMM81/8/4, BMM81/13/5, BMM81/16, BMM81/20/3, BMM81/22
3 July: BMM103, BMM114, BMM120/2, BMM127/3, BMM127/7
6 July: BMM90/36, BMM90/31/1/4
7 July: BMM37A/23/3/2, BMM38A/11/21/2, BMM76, BMM80, BMM90/5/11/1
