He had spent only two days at home and was preparing to start a project aimed at supporting his parents and improving their lives when tragedy struck.

Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu.
What did the autopsy report reveal killed Kevin Havi? Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Havi’s uncle, Reverend Gerishom Andani of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God, shared the post-mortem results and burial details for the fallen soldier.
Gerishom said the post-mortem examination was conducted on Tuesday, June 16, at Mashujaa Memorial Funeral Home.
“With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, husband and nephew, Kevin Havi. A post-mortem examination was conducted at Mashujaa Memorial Funeral Home, a Kenya Military morgue, in the presence of family members, his father, wife, uncle, aunt, brothers and cousin, as well as Kenya Military officers,” a statement shared by Gerishom read in part. According to the autopsy, the promising young man’s death was caused by an aortic rupture.
The findings came at a time when many people had speculated about the cause of Havi’s death, with some linking it to witchcraft and other unverified claims.
The post-mortem results have now put those speculations to rest, revealing the actual cause of the young soldier’s death.
When will the Kenya Air Force soldier be buried? The family mourned Havi as a beloved and valued member of both the family and the wider community. They also thanked everyone who has stood by them during this difficult period as they prepare to give him a befitting send-off.
Moreover, the reverend announced that his nephew would be laid to rest on Saturday, June 27, at his home in Vihiga, adding that the family would provide more information in due course.
