Kwaku made the prediction in a video shared on his social media pages, where he also confidently tipped Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal to go all the way and lift the coveted trophy.
What did Nana Kwaku Bonsam predict? According to the Ghanaian spiritualist, Argentina’s title defence will come to a shocking end when they face Cape Verde in the knockout stage.

He boldly declared that the African nation would pull off one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history by knocking out Lionel Messi’s side.
Bonsam did not stop there, insisting that Portugal had already been destined to become world champions.
“This World Cup is for Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo. They will win it,” he said. The witch doctor is no stranger to making headlines during major football tournaments.
Before Ghana’s group-stage clash against England, Bonsam publicly claimed he had placed a curse on Harry Kane to stop the striker from finding the back of the net.
As fate would have it, the England captain failed to score as the match ended in a goalless draw, with Kane missing chances many expected him to convert.
After the game, Bonsam said he had lifted the curse and insisted he held no grudge against the English forward.
“Harry Kane is not my enemy. I have a baby whom I will soon name after Harry Kane,” he said. Watch the video below:

While many dismissed the claims as mere superstition, others pointed to his Harry Kane prediction, which appeared to coincide with the striker’s scoreless outing against Ghana.
Cape Verde will now head into their Round of 32 clash against Argentina hoping to produce one of the greatest upsets in World Cup history, while Portugal remain among the favourites to challenge for the title.
There is optimism among rival fans after Cape Verde held Spain, the team ranked second in the FIFA Men’s World Rankings, to a draw.
