The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide, Dr Daniel Olukoya, on Sunday dedicated a new ultra-modern church auditorium in Noforija, Epe, Lagos State, with the ministry expanding its humanitarian interventions across the community through medical outreach, food distribution and vocational empowerment programmes.
The newly inaugurated church, MFM Region 210, Noforija, was dedicated on behalf of the General Overseer by the Assistant General Overseer, Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan.
The dedication attracted worshippers, traditional leaders, residents and church officials from across Lagos.
Adegbolahan, speaking at the inauguration, said believers are divinely called to manifest extraordinary impact in their generation.
In his exhortation titled “Prayers to Provoke Wonders,” drawn from Isaiah 9:6, he said Christians must reflect the nature of Christ, whose name, according to him, is “Wonderful.”
“You are supposed to be a wonder to your generation,” he said.
The Regional Overseer of MFM Region 210, Noforija, Pastor Tunde Oluwaleye, described the new church as a centre for spiritual restoration, counselling, youth development and community support.
Also, the Lagos Region 1, Lekki Mega Regional Axis of the church, organised a large-scale humanitarian outreach that provided free medical services, food support and skills acquisition training to hundreds of residents, particularly widows, vulnerable families and low-income earners.
The intervention formed part of the church’s Explosive Evangelism Initiative, a programme designed to combine evangelism with social welfare and community development.
Speaking on the initiative, the Senior Mega Regional Overseer of MFM Lekki Mega Regional Axis, Pastor Moses Adebowale, said the church had been directed by Dr Olukoya to ensure that evangelism is accompanied by practical acts of compassion.
Represented by Pastor Olufemi Odelabi of MFM Lagos Region 1, Igbo Efon, Lekki, Adebowale said the church remains committed to touching lives “both spiritually and physically.”
“Dr Daniel Olukoya instructed all MFM churches to touch people’s lives positively and spiritually through evangelism programmes and physically through corporate social responsibility initiatives,” he said.
He praised both Olukoya and his wife, Folashade Olukoya, for what he described as their longstanding commitment to humanitarian service and soul winning.
According to him, the ministry has continued to expand interventions, including scholarships for indigent students, youth empowerment schemes, widow support programmes, prison evangelism and rehabilitation projects for former inmates.
“Our mission is not limited to preaching alone,” he said, adding that “Lives must be transformed spiritually while physical needs are also met.”
At the medical outreach section of the programme, residents received free consultations, health screenings and treatment for various ailments.
Head of the medical team, Dr Victoria Ayeni, said healthcare professionals conducted blood pressure checks, fasting blood sugar tests, prostate-specific antigen screening and full blood count examinations.
She added that pregnant women and patients suffering from ulcers, stroke complications and piles were also attended to free of charge.
Beyond healthcare, the church distributed food items to struggling households amid rising economic pressures.
Widows also received food supplies and financial support to assist with business activities and children’s education.
A major highlight of the programme was the vocational training segment, where participants were taught practical skills, including soap-making and perfume production, as part of efforts to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship.
Organisers said the empowerment initiative was designed to help beneficiaries build sustainable income sources and reduce economic vulnerability.
