The Samurai Blue of Japan at the Houston Stadium on Monday again gave the Samba Boys of Brazil a huge scare at their second world cup meeting ever this time in the round of 32 as Brazil came from behind to slide into the round of 16.

In their first and only world cup meeting at the Germany 2006 Group F, Japan scored first at the 26th minute through Keisuka Tamada before Brazil came back to win 4-1.
